Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse to work with gtube, trach, and vent patients in their own homes. Schedules include 7a-5:30p, 7a-7p, and 8a-4p on weekdays.

Responsibilities include utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care and delivering skilled nursing services according to orders. Must be licensed and have current BLS, TB/X-ray, and prefer 1 year of experience.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as an LPN/LVN in the practicing state.
• Current TB or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS certification.
• One year of professional nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Provide skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders on each assignment.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient\'s condition.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret data from health care members and document nursing diagnoses.
