Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide in-home care for adult and pediatric patients. A variety of schedules and acuity levels are available to fit caregiver and patient needs.

The LPN will use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, delivering skilled services in patients' homes under prescribed orders. Current NC licensure and BLS are required, with prior nursing experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state of practice.
• TB test or Chest X-Ray current.
• BLS certification current.
• One year of nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, provide skilled nursing care/services per prescribed orders.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient.
• Collect, analyze, and document data and nursing diagnoses from health care team.

Responsibilities
