Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to care for pediatric patients in their own home in Norwalk, Iowa. This role offers hourly pay of $34/hour with PRN Days shifts.

Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating patient care using the nursing process; providing skilled nursing services per orders; monitoring condition and documenting data; collaborating with the care team to ensure high-quality home health services.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state where practice occurs.
• Current TB test or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS certification.
• One year of professional nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Provide skilled nursing care/services per prescribed orders on each assignment.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret data from health care members and document nursing diagnoses.
