Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts (LPHA) reviewer to support Integrated Assessment and Treatment Plans in outpatient community services. You will review documents, provide clinical guidance, ensure IATP compliance, and perform crisis evaluations as needed.

The role requires LCPC, LCSW, or LMFT licensure, a Master’s Degree, and at least two years in behavioral health with strong assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in a behavioral health setting.
• Ability to assess and diagnose, develop treatment plans, and interventions.
• Interpersonal skills, professional attitude and ethical standards.
• Ability to interpret rules and regulations, plan and organize work.
• Recognize signs of suicidal behavior and respond appropriately.

Responsibilities

• Serve as LPHA for IATP ensuring compliance with regulations and best practices.
• Provide clinical feedback to ensure medical necessity and diagnosis supported.
• Complete risk assessments, safety planning, and appropriate screening tools.
• Document activities related to review and authorization of IATP.
• Perform diagnostic assessments and determine immediate treatment plan needs.
• Request medical consultation when indicated and coordinate with teams.
• Develop treatment plans with patient goals tied to identified needs.
• Provide behavioral health therapy to individuals, families, or groups.
• Coordinate with crisis services for high-risk clients.
• Maintain records per policy and oversight requirements.
• Act as liaison between community and patient needs; coordinate with various entities.
• May supervise clinicians and students in department.
• Participate in training and prepare reports as needed.
• Meet productivity and documentation compliance standards.
