Job summary

Carle Health is seeking an experienced Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts (LPHA) reviewer to authorize Integrated Assessment and Treatment Plans for behavioral health needs. You will provide clinical guidance, perform assessments, and coordinate treatment in collaboration with the care team.

The role requires licensure (LCPC/LCSW/LMFT), a Master’s degree, and at least two years in a behavioral health setting, with strong analytical and communication skills and the ability to manage risk

Qualifications

Two years of experience in a behavioral health setting.
Ability to apply critical thinking and problem-solving to client situations.
Ability to assess and diagnose, develop treatment plans and interventions.
Strong written and oral communication skills; ethical standards in behavioral health.
Ability to interpret rules and regulations; organize work; recognize signs of suicidal behavior and respond appropriately.

Responsibilities

Serve as the LPHA for Integrated Assessment and Treatment Plan (IATP) and ensure compliance.
Provide clinical feedback to clinicians to support medical necessity and diagnosis.
Ensure appropriate treatment recommendations and safety planning steps.
Complete screening/assessment tools and incorporate results into treatment planning.
Document all activities related to review and authorization of the IATP.
Perform diagnostic assessments and determine immediate treatment plan needs.
Arrange medical consultations when indicated and timely.
