Job summary

Carle Health seeks a Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts (LPHA) reviewer to authorize Integrated Assessment and Treatment Plans and guide clinical teams. This role requires clinical oversight to ensure medical necessity, proper diagnosis, and compliant treatment planning.

The LPHA reviewer will conduct crisis evaluations, coordinate with community resources, and supervise staff as needed, upholding state and federal standards across care teams.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in a behavioral health setting.
• Strong ability to apply critical thinking and problem-solving to diverse client situations.
• Ability to interpret rules and regulations and document clinical decisions clearly.
• Excellent written and oral communication; professional demeanor and ethical behavior.

Responsibilities

• Serve as LPHA for Integrated Assessment and Treatment Plan (IATP).
• Provide clinical feedback to clinicians to support medical necessity and diagnosis.
• Complete risk assessment and safety planning steps.
• Ensure completion of screening and assessment tools for treatment planning.
• Document all activities related to review and authorization of the IATP.
• Provide behavioral health therapy to individuals, families, or groups as needed.
