Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts (LPHA) reviewer to authorize Integrated Assessment and Treatment Plans. You will provide clinical guidance, assessments, and crisis intervention while ensuring regulatory compliance.

The role demands two years in behavioral health, a Master’s degree, and licensure (LCPC/LCSW/LMFT). You’ll help coordinate care and supervise clinicians, with opportunities to impact patient outcomes across a broad network.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in a behavioral health setting.
• Ability to assess and diagnose, develop treatment plans and interventions.
• Strong written and oral communication, ethical standards in behavioral healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the LPHA for Integrated Assessment and Treatment Plan (IATP) and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Provide clinical feedback to clinicians to support medical necessity and diagnosis.
• Complete risk assessments and safety planning as required.
• Administer and document screening/assessment tools for treatment planning.
• Document activities related to review and authorization of the IATP.
• Conduct diagnostic assessments and determine immediate treatment needs.
• Request medical consultations when indicated and timely.
• Develop treatment plans with patient goals aligned to assessments.
• Provide behavioral health therapy to individuals, families, or groups.
• Coordinate with emergency and crisis services for high-risk clients.
• Maintain records per policy and regulatory standards.
• Coordinate with community, primary care, and managed-care entities.
• May supervise clinicians and students in the department.
• Participate in training and prepare reports as needed.
• Meet productivity and compliance standards for documentation.
