Qualifications

• Two years of experience in a behavioral health setting.
• Ability to apply critical thinking and problem-solving to a range of client situations.
• Ability to interpret rules and regulations and to provide clinical guidance.

Responsibilities

• Serves as the LPHA for Integrated Assessment and Treatment Plan (IATP) and ensures compliance with regulations and best practices.
• Provides clinical feedback to clinicians to support medical necessity and diagnosis.
• Ensures appropriate treatment recommendations and completes risk assessments and safety planning steps.
• Completes documentation supporting all activities related to review and authorization of the IATP.
• Performs diagnostic assessments and determines immediate treatment plan needs with patients.
• Requests medical consultation when indicated in a timely manner.
• Completes treatment plans with patients, identifying goals connected to assessment needs.
• Provides behavioral health therapy to individuals, families, and/or groups.
• Coordinates with emergency and crisis services for high-risk clients.
• Maintains records per organizational, state, federal, and accreditation standards.
