Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts (LPHA) reviewer to authorize Integrated Assessment and Treatment Plans. You will provide clinical guidance, perform crisis evaluations, and support team decisions on behavioral health diagnoses and interventions.

Qualifications

• Licensure as LCPC, LCSW, or LMFT is required.
• Two years of experience in a behavioral health setting preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with ability to develop treatment plans.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the LPHA for Integrated Assessment and Treatment Plan (IATP) compliance with regulations.
• Provide clinical feedback to clinicians to support medical necessity and diagnosis.
• Complete risk assessment and safety planning as part of treatment.
• Ensure screening and assessment tools are used and documented.
• Document all activities related to IATP review and authorization.
• Conduct diagnostic assessments and determine immediate treatment needs.
• Request medical consultations when indicated and timely.
