Job summary

Social Model Recovery Systems seeks a Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts (LPHA) to oversee clinical operations and ensure quality care across the program. The role includes chart reviews, medical necessity determinations, and level-of-care assessments using ASAM tools.

The LPHA will document diagnoses in the EHR, ensure a minimum one direct service per admitted resident, and provide or oversee evidence-based treatment services. Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team is essential.

Qualifications

• Current registration with the California Board of Behavioral Science Examiners as AMFT, ACSW, or APCC.
• Must remain license eligible and maintain current licensure status.

Responsibilities

• Act as the LPHA for the program, providing clinical oversight and ensuring quality care through chart reviews and treatment planning.
• Ensure compliance with ASAM-based assessments and regulatory standards.
• Document mental health diagnoses in the EHR and provide direct services for residents with diagnosed conditions.
• Provide and supervise evidence-based treatments including individual, group, and family therapies, crisis intervention, and related interventions.
• Deliver care coordination services to a minimum of 20% of residents, facilitating transitions and connections to aftercare and housing resources.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to support treatment planning, discharge planning, and program operations.
• Provide supervision to staff, trainees, and interns and assist in staff training on co-occurring disorders and pharmacological considerations.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements and agency policies.
