Job summary

COLUMBIA Shipmanagement Ltd. is seeking self-motivated seafarers to join our expanding fleet. The role covers operation and maintenance of engine room and machinery, with emphasis on reliability and safety.

Candidates should hold STCW certifications, have at least 4 months in rank on similar vessels with two-stroke engines, and bring leadership and effective English communication to a multicultural team.

Qualifications

• Holder of valid STCW certifications.
• Minimum experience of 4 months in rank on the same vessel type and with 2-stroke engines.
• Experience in repairs and dry docking is required.
• Experience in a multicultural working environment is preferred.
• Experience in trading area USA and Australia is recommended.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the proper operation and maintenance of engine room and other machinery equipment.
• Oversee repairs and dry docking as needed.
• Maintain a safety culture and mindset onboard.
• Demonstrate effective English communication and leadership in a multicultural team.
