Job summary

COLUMBIA SHIPMANAGEMENT seeks motivated seafarers to lead the engine room team and ensure smooth operation of engines and machinery. The role requires STCW certifications, 2-stroke engine experience over 10 MW, and a proven ability to work in multicultural environments.

Candidates should have strong leadership, effective English communication, and a safety-focused mindset. Applicable contract terms include a 4 months +/- 1 month duration with competitive salary and onboard internet benefits.

Qualifications

COLUMBIA SHIPMANAGEMENT is looking for self-motivated and skilled seafarers to join our expanding fleet.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Responsible for leading Engine room team to ensure smooth operation of Engines and machinery equipment.
• Experience in repairs and dry docking is required
• Experience with multicultural working environment.
• Holder of valid STCW certifications required for the position.
• Good communication and leadership skills.
• Effective English communication.

VESSEL'S SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum experience requirements: 4 months in Rank on the same vessel type and with 2 stroke engines over 10000KW output.
• Experience in FRAMO cargo pump system is recommended.
• Experience in trading area USA and Australia is recommended.
