Job summary

COLUMBIA SHIPMANAGEMENT is seeking self-motivated seafarers to join our expanding fleet. The role entails ensuring safety equipment and voyage planning for the vessel, holding valid COC (STCW II/1) with verification, and STCW certifications relevant to the position.

Fluency in English and leadership abilities are essential. Experience with multicultural teams, safety culture, and 6+ months in rank on similar tonnage is preferred.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Responsible for the safety equipment and Voyage plan of the vessel.
• Holder of valid COC (STCW Reg II/1) with verification.
• Holder of valid STCW certifications required for the position.
• Good communication and leadership skills.
• Fluent in written and spoken English language.

• Safety culture and mindset.

VESSEL'S SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum experience requirements: 6 months in Rank with the same type/size of vessel.
• Experience onboard same vessel tonnage is mandatory.
• Experience in Steam Turbines cargo pump system is recommended.
• Experience with Crude Oil and STS cargo operations.
• Experience in trading area USA and Australia is recommended.

• Contract Duration [5 months +/- 1 months]
