Job summary

COLUMBIA SHIPMANAGEMENT is looking for self-motivated seafarers to join our expanding fleet and lead the Engine room team to ensure smooth operation of engines and machinery aboard the vessel.

Requirements include STCW certifications, repairs and dry docking experience, strong English communication, and leadership alongside experience in multicultural environments. Contract terms offer 6 months +/- 1 month, a competitive salary, a rejoining bonus, free onboard internet, and wellbeing support.

Qualifications

• Leading the Engine room team to ensure smooth operation of engines and machinery.
• Experience in repairs and dry docking.
• Holder of valid STCW certifications.
• Good communication and leadership skills.
• Effective English communication.
• Experience with multicultural working environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Engine room daily operations and monitor machinery performance.
• Coordinate maintenance, repairs and engine room activities aboard the vessel.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and operational procedures.
• Liaise with crew and shore support to optimize fleet performance.
