Job summary

COLUMBIA SHIPMANAGEMENT Ltd. seeks self-motivated seafarers to support our expanding fleet. The role centers on leading the Engine room team to ensure continuous operation of engines and related machinery while maintaining safety and communication across a multicultural crew.

Applicants should hold STCW certifications and have at least 4 months in rank on the same vessel type with 2-stroke engines over 10,000 kW. USA and Australia trading exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• STCW certificates holder is required.
• Minimum 4 months in rank on the same vessel type with 2 stroke engines over 10000KW (recommended FRAMO/Steam Turbines).
• Experience in trading around USA and Australia is recommended.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Engine room team to ensure smooth operation of engines and machinery.
• Oversee repairs and dry docking as applicable.

• Experience in repairs and dry docking is required

VESSEL'S SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum experience requirements: 4 months in Rank on the same vessel type and with 2 stroke engines over 10000KW output.
• Experience in FRAMO and/or Steam Turbines cargo pump system is recommended.
• Experience in trading area USA and Australia is recommended.

• Contract Duration [4 months +/- 1 months]
