Job summary

Monroe Energy, LLC is seeking a Scheduler to manage LPG shipments (propane/butanes) and black oil movements (CSO/fuel oil/VGO) across rail, pipeline, barge, and truck networks. The role requires coordination with LPG and black oil traders, Refinery Operations, and third parties to meet inventory needs while maximizing netback.

The successful candidate will forecast inventory, resolve scheduling issues, and provide timely status updates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years in refinery process engineering or similar high-risk industry.
• Interest in refinery optimization, linear programming, and product blending.
• Basic coding/automation knowledge for data gathering and validation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Schedule LPG shipments and black oil movements via rail, pipeline, barge and truck.
• Maintain daily product movement schedules in collaboration with traders and refinery operations.
• Forecast inventory levels for LPG and heavy oil products; manage forward production plans.
• Resolve scheduling issues related to equipment availability and product trades.
• Interface with third-party schedulers and ensure timely updates to all stakeholders.
• Serve as backup for optimization team roles.
