Job summary

Marathon Petroleum Company LP is seeking a skilled NGL Commercial Scheduler to coordinate and optimize scheduling of NGLs across pipelines, trucks, rail, and waterborne movements. The role emphasizes inventory management, collaboration with traders, marketers, and external counterparties, and efforts to minimize supply disruptions.

Primary duties include monitoring daily inventories, communicating movements to stakeholders, and supporting strategy development with forward-looking data.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or five years of related experience in lieu.
• Four or more years of industry-related experience required.
• Two or more years of NGLs experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Nominate and schedule pipeline, waterborne, truck, rail, and/or delivery movements.
• Monitor inventories and shipping schedules daily to meet demand.
• Communicate planned movements with traders, customers, and terminals.
• Provide forward-looking inventory position to Trading and Marketing.
• Identify constraints and opportunities to optimize plans and mitigate upsets.
