Job summary

Sunoco LP is seeking a skilled Associate Specialist to plan and coordinate bulk liquids movements by pipeline, truck, rail, and barge. You will work closely with traders to balance supply and demand, resolve issues, and optimize routing while managing end-of-year inventory targets.

A bachelor’s degree in logistics or related field, plus strong communication and scheduling skills, is required. The role entails on-call availability and collaboration across functions to ensure seamless operations

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in logistics/business or related field or equivalent work experience.
Excellent interpersonal/communication skills (written and verbal) and analytical abilities.
Thrives in a fast-paced, on-call 24/7 environment with cross-functional collaboration.
Pipeline/Barge scheduling experience and ability to negotiate with carriers.

Responsibilities

Plan, schedule, and coordinate bulk liquids movements by pipeline, truck, rail, and barge.
Collaborate with traders to align purchases and deliveries with supply targets.
Identify and resolve product supply issues and optimize logistics routes.
Monitor inventory levels and end-of-year targets for the team.
Interface with third-party carriers to negotiate and coordinate deliveries.
