Job summary

Keystone Cooperative, Inc. is seeking an experienced outside propane sales driver to grow residential, commercial and farm accounts in Indiana.

Responsibilities include delivering propane, providing excellent service, building a strong sales base, maintaining records, and ensuring safety compliance with CDL, Hazmat, and Tanker endorsements.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Outside sales experience and territory knowledge is a plus.
• Class A or B CDL with acceptable driving record.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail oriented and ability to prioritize.

Responsibilities

• Deliver propane to customer locations in an efficient, punctual and safe manner.
• During daily interaction with customers, provide exceptional customer service by supplying service information and answering inquiries.
• Build customer base within sales territory by utilizing various sales techniques, including prospecting (cold calls).
• Prepare and maintain records in accordance with regulations and company procedures.
• Operate truck in accordance to established safety procedures.
• Perform installation, removal and service as needed.
• Provide back up to Energy department as needed.
