Job summary

Keystone Cooperative, Inc. is seeking an outside propane sales professional responsible for delivering to residential, commercial and farm accounts. This role requires a valid CDL with Hazmat/Tanker endorsements, a clean driving record, and excellent customer service to build the sales territory.

Duties include safe truck operation, installations, and supporting the Energy department as needed. Ideal candidates will possess high school diploma or equivalent and demonstrate strong communication

Qualifications

• CDL with Hazmat/Tanker endorsements preferred or required
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential
• Detail oriented with ability to prioritize tasks in a field environment

Responsibilities

• Deliver propane to residential, commercial and farm accounts.
• Provide exceptional customer service and answer inquiries during customer interactions.
• Build and expand the sales territory through prospecting and daily customer contact.
• Maintain records in compliance with regulations and company procedures.
• Safely operate truck and perform installation/removal/service as needed.
• Provide backup support to Energy department as required.

Job DescriptionPosition Overview: The key responsibilities of this position are outside sales of propane gas to residential, commercial and farm accounts from initial contact through to delivery, which may include tank setting and service.Duties and Responsibilities:Include but are not limited toDeliver propane to customer locations in an efficient, punctual and safe mannerDuring daily interaction with customers, provide exceptional customer service by supplying service information and answering inquiresBuild customer base within sales territory by utilizing various sales techniques, including prospecting (cold calls)Prepare and maintain records in accordance with regulations and company proceduresOperate truck in accordance to established safety proceduresPerform installation, removal and service as neededProvide back up to Energy department as neededSkills and Qualifications:Acceptable driving record and able to obtain Class A or B CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsementsProficient computer skillsProficient verbal and written communication skillsDetail oriented and ability to prioritizeEducation and Experience:High School diploma or equivalentOutside sales experience and territory knowledge is a plusPhysical Requirements:Ability to walk 1 to 5 miles, climb steps/ ladders and lift up to 75lbsBending and climbing in and out of the truck
