Job summary

Tri Gas & Oil Co Inc in Maryland is seeking an experienced Propane Delivery Driver to safely operate a propane delivery vehicle and perform customer deliveries across weather conditions. Role emphasizes safety, sales, customer service and teamwork.

The ideal candidate holds a valid CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements, passes DOT physical and background checks, and can lift cylinders. Overtime may be available during heating season.

Qualifications

• Ability to pass pre-employment DOT physical, drug test, and Homeland Security background check.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive propane delivery vehicle to customer locations in all weather.
• Inspect vehicle daily and report issues per policy and DOT regulations.
• Meet delivery objectives set by the local District Manager.
• Provide safety, sales, and customer service while working as part of a team.

$2,000 Sign-On Bonus available to experienced LP Delivery Drivers who can independently perform propane deliveries upon hire.The Propane Delivery Driver position requires an individual to safely drive a propane delivery vehicle to customer locations. This position also requires someone with a positive and enthusiastic attitude toward Safety, Sales, customer Service and Employee Team-Work. Making deliveries in all type of weather and conditions. Overtime is possible in the heating season.Responsible for achieving delivery objectives set forth by the local District Manager.Inspect vehicle daily and report any problems in accordance with company policy and DOT regulations.This position requires an individual to safely drive a propane delivery vehicle to our customer locations.This position also requires someone with a positive and enthusiastic attitude toward Safety, Sales, Customer Service and Employee Team-Work.Prior gas delivery experience helpfulCDL Hazmat, tanker, and air brakes endorsements required.Ability to work outdoors in various weather and driving conditionsAbility to communicate clearly and effectively with existing and potential customersFlexibility to work outside of basic job descriptionExcellent customer service skillsDesire to succeed and advance in a team environmentAbility to pass pre-employment DOT physical, drug test and Homeland Security Background Check.Good interpersonal skills and willingness to take direction from plant manager.Valid Commercial Drivers License (CDL) with a Hazmat endorsement and Tanker endorsement.Employee must be capable of frequently lifting cylinders weighing 40-50 pounds.Ability to pass pre-employment DOT physical, drug test and Homeland Security Background Check.Must have a Hazmat license.Minimum 2-year CDL license.
