Job summary

Keystone Cooperative, Inc. is seeking a propane outside sales specialist to cover residential, commercial and farm accounts in the Lindon area. You will manage deliveries, provide customer service, and grow the customer base through targeted prospecting.

The role requires a CDL (A or B), Hazmat/tanker endorsements or ability to obtain them quickly, and strong computer and communication skills. Safety and accuracy in records are essential as you support the Energy department.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Outside sales experience and territory knowledge is a plus.
• CDL required or ability to obtain quickly after hire.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements or ability to get quickly after hire.

Responsibilities

• Deliver propane to residential, commercial and farm accounts.
• Provide exceptional customer service and answer inquiries.
• Build customer base within sales territory through prospecting (cold calls).
• Prepare and maintain records per regulations and company procedures.
• Operate truck safely according to procedures.
• Install, remove, and service propane as needed.
• Provide back-up to Energy department as needed.

Job DescriptionPosition Overview: The key responsibilities of this position are outside sales of propane gas to residential, commercial and farm accounts from initial contact through to delivery, which may include tank setting and service.Duties and Responsibilities: Include but are not limited toDeliver propane to customer locations in an efficient, punctual and safe mannerDuring daily interaction with customers, provide exceptional customer service by supplying service information and answering inquiresBuild customer base within sales territory by utilizing various sales techniques, including prospecting (cold calls)Prepare and maintain records in accordance with regulations and company proceduresOperate truck in accordance to established safety proceduresPerform installation, removal and service as neededProvide back up to Energy department as neededSkills and Qualifications:Acceptable driving recordClass A or B CDLHazmat and Tanker endorsements or ability to get quickly upon hireProficient computer skillsProficient verbal and written communication skillsDetail oriented and ability to prioritizeEducation and Experience:High School diploma or equivalentOutside sales experience and territory knowledge is a plusPhysical Requirements:Ability to walk 1 to 5 miles, climb steps/ ladders and lift up to 75lbsBending and climbing in and out of the truck
