Job summary

Keystone Cooperative, Inc. is seeking an outside propane sales driver to deliver propane to residential, commercial and farm accounts in Indiana. You will establish and grow a customer base, perform deliveries and service, and maintain accurate records in compliance with regulations.

The role requires Class A or B CDL with Hazmat/Tanker endorsements, strong customer service, and solid computer skills. Safe driving and physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs are essential.

Qualifications

• Outside sales experience and territory knowledge is a plus.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Detail oriented and ability to prioritize

Responsibilities

• Deliver propane to customer locations in an efficient, punctual and safe manner.
• Build customer base within sales territory by prospecting (cold calls).
• Prepare and maintain records in accordance with regulations and company procedures.
• Operate truck in accordance with established safety procedures.
• Provide back up to Energy department as needed.

Job DescriptionPosition Overview: The key responsibilities of this position are outside sales of propane gas to residential, commercial and farm accounts from initial contact through to delivery, which may include tank setting and service.Duties and Responsibilities: Include but are not limited toDeliver propane to customer locations in an efficient, punctual and safe mannerDuring daily interaction with customers, provide exceptional customer service by supplying service information and answering inquiresBuild customer base within sales territory by utilizing various sales techniques, including prospecting (cold calls)Prepare and maintain records in accordance with regulations and company proceduresOperate truck in accordance to established safety proceduresPerform installation, removal and service as neededProvide back up to Energy department as neededSkills and Qualifications:Acceptable driving record and able to obtain Class A or B CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsementsProficient computer skillsProficient verbal and written communication skillsDetail oriented and ability to prioritizeEducation and Experience:High School diploma or equivalentOutside sales experience and territory knowledge is a plusPhysical Requirements:Ability to walk 1 to 5 miles, climb steps/ ladders and lift up to 75lbsBending and climbing in and out of the truck
