Job summary

Norris Asphalt Paving Co. is hiring a Lowboy Truck Driver to transport construction materials and equipment from our Ottumwa, IA facilities. You will load equipment, perform inspections, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance on every trip.

The role requires a Class A CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements, and at least 1 year of relevant experience. Occasional overnight stays may be needed.

Qualifications

• Requires Class A CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements.
• Minimum 1 year of heavy equipment transport experience.
• Ability to load/unload equipment and perform inspections.

Responsibilities

• Operate a truck and trailer to transport materials and equipment.
• Load equipment onto trailer as needed.
• Perform daily pre/post trip inspections and maintain logs.
• Perform minor vehicle maintenance and ensure regulatory compliance.
