Job summary

Asphalt Specialists, LLC, a Southeast Michigan leader in asphalt services, seeks experienced Lowboy drivers for seasonal April–November. You will load, unload, and transport heavy equipment in a Lowboy truck, with CDL Class A required, and a focus on safe, proficient operation.

Based in Pontiac, MI, the role offers pay based on experience and opportunities for overtime; candidates must pass MDOT drug screening and a DOT physical.

Qualifications

• Understand and comply with all company safety policies.
• Conduct safety checks of truck and equipment per CDL pre-trip guidelines.
• Transports heavy equipment to and from job site.
• Maintain clean truck, cab and bed.
• Maintain positive relationships with employees and customers.
• Maintain logs of working hours.
• Willing to work weekends and overtime.
• Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record; pass MDOT drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload and transport heavy equipment on Lowboy.
• Operate Lowboy truck safely and efficiently.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain logs and perform routine vehicle checks.
• Communicate with crew and supervisors to coordinate deliveries.
• Ensure timely delivery to job sites and return trips.

We are now accepting applications for experienced Lowboy drivers. The Lowboy Driver loads, unloads, and transports heavy equipment and attachments in a Lowboy truck. A CDL Class A License is required. The driver is responsible for safe and technically proficient operation of equipment to and from a job-site. This is a seasonal job April-November. Pay based on experience.

Experience and Skills:

• Good driving record.
