Job summary

Norris Asphalt Paving Co. is seeking a Class A or B CDL driver for a traveling, long-hour role in the Ottumwa area. You will haul asphalt, aggregate, sand and related materials to support our HMA production and paving projects across multiple sites.

You will perform pre- and post-trip inspections, grease your truck, and keep the box clean. This position requires flexibility to travel and extended hours as needed.

Qualifications

• Requires a Class A or B Commercial Driver License.
• Role involves hauling asphalt, aggregate, sand and other materials for HMA production.
• Candidate will perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections and truck maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Haul asphalt, aggregate, sand and materials used in hot mix asphalt production.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections daily and grease the truck.
• Keep the box clean and perform basic truck maintenance as needed.

Job Description

This position requires a Class A or B Commercial Driver License. The position includes, but is not limited to hauling asphalt, aggregate, sand and other material used in the production of hot mix asphalt. The candidate will be responsible for doing a pre and post trip inspection everyday, greasing their own truck and cleaning the box out as needed. This is a traveling position with long hours.
