• Understand and use wire maps.

Amteck Technologies is currently looking to hire a Technician II for our office in Columbia SC. Amteck Technologies specializes in the design, installation, testing, certification and support of structured cabling systems. This also includes systems installation and certification of fire alarms, paging/sound, CCTV and CATV. Requirements

• 1-2 years of verified experience with low voltage systems and cabling
• Knowledge of BICSI, ANSI, TIA standards and NEC codes for Low Voltage installations
• Must be able to read a measuring tape
• Able to travel to meet customer objectives when needed
• Demonstrates a basic understanding of customer relationships and the concept of customer satisfaction, with an aptitude for growing that skill
