Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Lead Cable Technician for Nashville, TN, supporting the Titans Stadium and other large projects. This long-term contract runs through February 2027, offering steady work, growth, and a chance to work on high-profile commercial sites.

You will install structured cabling, pull and terminate Cat5e/6/6A and fiber, test networks, and lead junior technicians on active construction sites in the Nashville area.

Qualifications

• Experience with structured cabling installations and pathway layouts.
• Hands-on Cat5e/6/6A and fiber cabling installation knowledge.
• Ability to correctly terminate, test, and troubleshoot cabling systems.

Responsibilities

• Install cable pathways, trays, J-hooks and support structures on sites.
• Pull and route Cat6/6A and fiber optic cabling according to drawings.
• Terminate and test network cabling, patch panels and faceplates.
• Perform rack-and-stack installations and read installation standards.
• Troubleshoot cabling/connectivity issues on active construction sites.
• Lead entry-level techs and maintain safety at job sites.

TEKsystems is seeking Cable Technicians to join our structured cabling team supporting one of Nashville's most exciting construction projects, the new Titans Stadium or Gaylord Resort, along with other large-scale projects throughout the Nashville area.

This is a long-term contract opportunity running through February 2027, offering steady work, career growth, and the opportunity to work on some of the region's largest commercial construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Install cable pathways, cable trays, J-hooks, and support structures
• Pull and route Cat6, Cat6A, and Fiber Optic cabling
• Terminate and test network cabling systems
• Install and terminate faceplates, keystone jacks, and patch panels
• Perform rack-and-stack installations
• Read and follow project drawings and installation standards
• Troubleshoot cabling and connectivity issues
• Maintain a safe and professional work environment on active construction sites
• Lead and assist entry-level technicians as needed

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $27.00/hr.
