Job summary

Albuquerque Cabling is seeking a Low Voltage Install Technician for a full-time, on-site position based in Albuquerque, NM. You will install, terminate, and test low voltage cabling across voice, data, access control, AV, wireless, and IP camera systems.

You will read plans, pull cable, mount devices, label and document work, and assist with system start-up and basic configuration while collaborating with project managers and engineers to meet design specs and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read and interpret low voltage plans and diagrams.
• Experience with pulling, terminating, and testing low voltage cabling.
• Comfort working on ladders, lifts, and in ceiling spaces with OSHA guidelines.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Install, terminate, and test low voltage cabling for voice, data, access control, AV, wireless, and IP cameras.
• Read plans and pull cable; mount devices and equipment.
• Label and document work; assist with system start-up and configuration.
• Inspect existing installations and perform routine maintenance.
• Support troubleshooting and repairs on active projects.
