Job summary

Craftsmen Resources LLC in Oklahoma City is hiring a Low-Voltage Installer to run, terminate, and test structured cabling and control wiring for security, fire alarm, data, and AV systems in commercial and industrial facilities.

The role is full-time and on-site with day shifts, optional overtime. Candidates should have 2+ years of experience and be comfortable reading schematics, working at heights, and following safety protocols. Training and certifications supported.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of low-voltage installation experience (security, data, AV, or fire systems).
  • Ability to read blueprints, riser diagrams, and device schedules.
  • Proficiency with hand tools, crimpers, fusion splicers, and cable testers.

Responsibilities

  • Read and follow low-voltage schematics, wiring diagrams, and installation specifications.
  • Route and secure cable bundles in conduits, cable trays, and raceways.
  • Terminate and label copper and fiber optic cables using punch-down tools, crimpers, and fusion splicers.
  • Install and align cameras, sensors, keypads, speakers, and related devices.
  • Program and test access control and fire alarm panels for correct operation.
  • Perform continuity, certification, and performance tests with cable testers and OTDRs.
  • Maintain clean, organized work areas and adhere to safety protocols.

Low-Voltage Installer – Oklahoma

Power up Oklahoma’s critical systems! We are seeking skilled Low-Voltage Installers to run, terminate, and test structured cabling and control wiring for security, fire alarm, data, and audio/visual systems in commercial and industrial facilities.

Position Overview

As a Low-Voltage Installer, you will interpret wiring diagrams and blueprints to install CAT5/6/7 data cabling, fiber optics, security cameras, access control panels, fire alarm devices, and AV systems. You’ll collaborate with project managers and electricians to sequence your work, maintain neat cable pathways, and conduct thorough system tests. This full-time, on-site role offers consistent day shifts with optional overtime.

What You’ll Do
  • Read and follow low-voltage schematics, wiring diagrams, and installation specifications
  • Route and secure cable bundles in conduits, cable trays, and raceways

What You Bring
  • 2+ years of low-voltage installation experience (security, data, AV, or fire systems)
  • Proficiency with hand tools, crimpers, fusion splicers, and cable testers
  • Ability to read blueprints, Riser diagrams, and device schedules
  • Familiarity with BICSI standards, NFPA 70, and local low-voltage codes
  • Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and on ladders
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable attendance record
Pay & Benefits

Pay Range: $18.00 – $36.00 per hour (depending on experience)

Shift: Day shift, Monday–Friday, with optional overtime
