Job summary

Epiroc in Garland, TX is seeking a Low Voltage Electrical Technician to troubleshoot and assemble low voltage systems on the production floor using wiring schematics, PCM cards, and diagnostic equipment. This onsite role requires a strong eye for detail and hands-on ability.

Ideal candidates have a HS Diploma or GED and at least two years in a low-voltage electrician role, plus training in reading electrical schematics.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Two years minimum in low-voltage electrician role.
• Must have training in reading electrical schematics.

Responsibilities

• Trouble-shoot low voltage systems using wiring schematics, computer software, and diagnostic equipment.
• Trouble-shoot electrical to electronic interfaces.
• Run conduit, pull wire, and make electrical connections using wiring diagrams/schematics.
• Assembly duties as required.
• Detect and report defective materials or conditions to supervisor.
• Follow safety regulations and ISO procedures.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Vendors on prototype wiring requirements.
• ECM programming and PCM card operation.
