Job summary
Epiroc is seeking an Electrical Technician in Garland, TX to install, program and troubleshoot electrical components on drilling rigs and equipment, following safety guidelines. You will work with high and low voltage systems and read schematics to ensure proper operation and reliability.
The role requires Journeyperson Electrician license, 2+ years of related experience, and a commitment to Lean and safe manufacturing practices.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Journeyperson Electrician license required.
- Knowledge of blueprints, schematics and electrical codes.
- Experience with high/low voltage systems in manufacturing.
- Maintains safety and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
- Install, program, and troubleshoot electrical components on drilling rigs.
- Perform high and low voltage terminations up to 7200V.
- Troubleshoot systems using schematics and diagnostic tools.
- Lead safety practices and 5S in the work area.
- Maintain wiring and instrument connections; assist with start-up.
- Train or assist new hires as needed.
