Job summary

JE Dunn is seeking a Project Engineer 2 for low voltage work in Austin, TX. You will join a team overseeing routine construction tasks, safety, quality plans, and self-perform activities to understand building processes and JE Dunn’s execution methods.

Role requires bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field and at least 2 years of construction experience, with flexibility for travel and variable hours. Strong collaboration and Lean practices are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field.
• 2+ years construction experience.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Willing to travel and/or relocate for projects.
• Willing to work non-traditional hours to meet project needs.

Responsibilities

• Participates in safety and quality plans and culture on site.
• Supports estimates, schedules, work plans, and daily logs.
• Pre-plans crew activities and updates the project team.
• Supports project administration in CMiC and related tools.
• Coordinates with subcontractors and internal project support.
• Monitors costs and contributes to QA/QC planning.
• Assists with development of crew schedules and reports.
