Job summary

Facility Solutions Group in Dallas, TX is seeking a Low Voltage Lead Technician to supervise junior technicians on commercial projects. Qualifications

  • Three+ years of experience leading technicians on projects.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Low Voltage Industry certifications preferred (BICSI, FOI, FOA).
  • Manufacturer training preferred (CommScope, Panduit).
  • OSHA certification preferred and ability to pass screenings.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise junior Low Voltage Technicians on a commercial jobsite.
  • Pull, test, and terminate CAT5e/6a cabling in a commercial environment.
  • Install support structures such as J-hooks, saddles, slings, and cable tray.
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, and testing equipment.
  • Ensure cables are labeled neatly and organized.
  • Test every newly installed or relocated cable per procedures.
  • Record time and materials used.
  • Assist other team members with installation and maintenance.
  • Research required information using available resources.
  • Be willing to work days, nights, or weekends if needed.
  • Work outdoors in varying weather, heights, and confined spaces.

Overview

As aLow Voltage Lead Technician,you will be responsible for supervising junior technicians on commercial jobsites. Candidates will be expected to train junior employees on pulling, testing, and terminating copper and/or fiber optic cabling in a construction environment. FSG is a leading provider of low-voltage solutions and is looking for long-term, career minded individuals to join our growing team in Dallas, Texas and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise junior Low Voltage Technicians on a commercial jobsite
  • Pull, test, and terminate CAT5e/6a cabling in a commercial environment
  • Installing support structure such as J-hooks, saddles, slings, and cable tray
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, and testing equipment
  • Ensure cables are labeled in a neat and organized manner
  • Test every newly installed or relocated cable in accordance with established procedures
  • Record time and materials used
  • Assist other members of the team with installation and maintenance
  • Research required information using available resources
  • Be willing to work any shift (days, nights or weekends if needed)
  • Be able to work in various environments including outdoors in varying degrees of weather working at heights, and in small, confined spaces
Qualifications

Pay Range

USD $25.00 - USD $28.00 /Hr.
