Job summary

Facility Solutions Group in Dallas, TX is seeking a Low Voltage Lead Technician to supervise junior technicians on commercial projects. You will train staff in pulling, testing, and terminating copper and fiber cabling in a construction setting, with opportunities to work across various environments.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years leading teams, relevant low-voltage certifications, and willingness to work flexible shifts. OSHA preferred, and experience with CommScope or Panduit is valued.

Qualifications

• Three+ years of experience leading technicians on projects.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Low Voltage Industry certifications preferred (BICSI, FOI, FOA).
• Manufacturer training preferred (CommScope, Panduit).
• OSHA certification preferred and ability to pass screenings.

Responsibilities

• Supervise junior Low Voltage Technicians on a commercial jobsite.
• Pull, test, and terminate CAT5e/6a cabling in a commercial environment.
• Install support structures such as J-hooks, saddles, slings, and cable tray.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, and testing equipment.
• Ensure cables are labeled neatly and organized.
• Test every newly installed or relocated cable per procedures.
• Record time and materials used.
• Assist other team members with installation and maintenance.
• Research required information using available resources.
• Be willing to work days, nights, or weekends if needed.
• Work outdoors in varying weather, heights, and confined spaces.
