Job summary

Next Level Technician is seeking a Low Voltage Cable Technician for the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Earn $20-$30/hr based on experience, with weekly pay, benefits, and opportunities to grow within a national leader.

Travel to various job sites and work on CAT5e/CAT6, CCTV, access control, and fiber optic projects. The role requires 2+ years of low voltage experience, knowledge of telecom networks, and a readiness to travel; certifications (BICSI, Lift, OSHA) are a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of commercial/industrial low voltage experience.
• Experience with structured cabling, voice/data, or security systems preferred.
• BICSI, Lift, and OSHA certifications are a plus.
• Basic hand tools and PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, steel-toe boots).
• Working knowledge of telecom/data networks.
• Willingness to travel; some assignments may require being away up to one month.
• Reliable, professional, and motivated to grow within the company.

Responsibilities

• Pull, terminate, dress, and label CAT5e/CAT6 cable.
• Test installed cable using Fluke or similar testers.
• Punch down voice and data jacks.
• Install racks, patch panels, cable trays, cabinets, MDF/IDF, etc.
• Work safely on ladders/lifts and be comfortable with heights.
• Read and interpret blueprints and system layouts.
• Install and support structured cabling, access control, CCTV, audio visual, and fiber optic systems.
• Travel to various job sites as needed.
