Job summary

LEHR in Griffin, GA is seeking a motivated Low Voltage Installation Technician to join our team. If you enjoy wiring, installing emergency vehicle equipment, and tackling hands-on projects, this is your chance to grow with us and gain real shop experience.

You will remove and install 12V electrical systems, cameras, license plate recognition, and other components, while following safety procedures and maintaining a clean workspace.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Valid driver's license with clean record.
  • Experience with hand tools and power tools preferred.
  • Mechanical aptitude or hands-on experience required.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work around vehicles.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Remove factory-installed interior and exterior vehicle components.
  • Install emergency vehicle equipment (light bars, sirens, speakers, push bumpers, partitions).
  • Install cameras, computers, and license plate recognition systems.
  • Perform 12V electrical wiring and system installations.
  • Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean workspace.
  • Organize tools and inventory.

LEHR seeks highly motivated candidates with a strong work ethic to join our growing team as a Low Voltage Installation Technician for our Griffin, GA shop.

Responsibilities:
  • Remove factory-installed interior and exterior vehicle components
  • Install emergency vehicle equipment, including light bars, sirens, speakers, push bumpers, partitions, and more
  • Install cameras, computers, and license plate recognition systems
  • Perform 12V electrical wiring and system installations
  • Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean workspace
  • Organize tools and inventory
Qualifications:

Required:

  • Experience using hand tools and power tools
  • Mechanical aptitude or hands-on experience
  • Ability to lift to 50 lbs. and work in/around vehicles
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and on a team
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • High school diploma or GED

Preferred:

  • Experience with 12V electrical systems
  • Ability to read schematics or wiring diagrams

Entry-level candidates with hands-on experience and electrical and mechanical aptitude are encouraged to apply. Training will be provided.

Benefits:
  • Trainee Level: $17- $19/hour
  • Lead Technician: $20–$23/hour
  • Full-Time/non-exempt
