Job summary

Signal AV in Excelsior, MN is seeking a Full-Time Low-Voltage Install Technician for high-end residential AV, lighting, shading, and control systems. In-person role based in the Minneapolis suburbs, reporting to the Lead Tech, with a typical 8am–4pm schedule and no nights or weekends.

You are hands-on, reliable, with construction-site experience and the ability to climb ladders, pull cabling, and use power/hand tools. A steady work history and high EQ are valued.

Responsibilities

• Pull/Terminate/Test Low-Voltage Cabling (Category, Fiber, Speaker, Lutron).

• Understanding and setup of networks.
• Troubleshooting of devices.

• Low-Voltage Installation Technician

You Are:

• A trustworthy individual. Hungry to learn and grow. Hands-on and love being in the field as opposed to being behind a desk. Technically inclined and always curious how things work.

You Have:

• Experience on construction sites. Ability to climb ladders, pull cabling, use power tools & hand tools. A steady work history (3yrs between hops), a pleasant disposition, High EQ.

Your Location:

• In-Person (Not Remote or Hybrid)
• 4440 Round Lake Rd West, Suite F7, Arden Hills, MN
• Projects typical around the Minneapolis suburbs, with a focus on the west

Your Schedule:

• Full Time (40hrs/Wk)
• Mon-Fri from 8am to 4pm
• NO Nights/Weekends
