Job summary

SoundWaves is seeking an Installation Technician for high-end residential AV, lighting, shading, and control systems. The role is field-based, based near Prospect Park, PA, with emphasis on low-voltage installation and in-field problem solving.

You will work on building and configuring systems, routing cables, and programming multiple control platforms. A valid driver's license and background check are required. Competitive hourly pay and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience on construction sites is required.
• Ability to climb ladders, pull cabling, and use power and hand tools.
• Maintain a steady work history and a positive attitude.
• Valid driver’s license and able to pass background check.

Responsibilities

• Pull, terminate and test low-voltage cabling.
• Mount devices at the ends of wires.
• Build and lace equipment racks.
• Advanced setup and configuration of devices.
• Programming (Control4, Savant, Lutron, Crestron, Nice).
• Understanding of networks and troubleshooting devices.
• Train clients on system operation.

Compensation: $30.00 - $50.00 / hour

Job Description:

• Low-Voltage Installation Technician

You Are:

• A trustworthy individual. Hungry to learn and grow. Hands-on and love being in the field as opposed to being behind a desk. Technically inclined and always curious how things work.

You Have:

• Experience on construction sites. Ability to climb ladders, pull cabling, use power tools & hand tools. A steady work history (3yrs between hops), a pleasant disposition, High EQ.

Your Location:

• Our Office: 904 Chester Pike Prospect Park, PA 19076
• Projects are located in the surrounding area

Your Schedule:

• Full Time (40hrs/Wk) - We do not short your hours!!!
• Mon-Fri from 7:00/7:30am-4:00/4:30pm
• Opportunity for Overtime. No weekends.

Your Contribution to SoundWaves:

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license
• Ability to pass a criminal background check

SoundWaves' Contribution to You:

• $30-$50/hr, based on skill level
