Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience is a plus but not required.
• Experience in low voltage, telecom, IT/help desk, AV, networking, electrical, construction, security, HVAC or another skilled trade preferred.
• Mechanically inclined and comfortable with hand and power tools.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
• Comfortable learning new technology and troubleshooting problems.
• Professional appearance and demeanor for high-end homes and businesses.
• Comfortable working on ladders and active construction sites.

Responsibilities

Job description

We're looking for a dependable, mechanically inclined Low Voltage Technician to join our growing team. This is much more than pulling wire—you'll work on advanced technology systems in high-end residential, commercial, and government environments throughout Michigan.

Projects include home theaters, golf simulators, security systems, networking, lighting controls, automation, audio/video, and structured cabling.

What You'll Do

• Install and terminate low-voltage and CAT6 cabling.
• Install and troubleshoot networks, Wi-Fi, AV, and security systems.
• Install TVs, projectors, home theaters, audio systems, and golf simulators.
• Assist with lighting controls, motorized shades, and automation systems.
• Install equipment racks and conference room technology.
• Troubleshoot systems and perform service work.
• Maintain clean, professional installations and provide excellent customer service.

What We're Looking For

• 1–2 years of experience is a plus, but not required.
