Job summary

Signal AV in Excelsior, MN is seeking a Full-Time Low-Voltage Install Technician for high-end residential AV, lighting, shading, and control systems. In-person role based in the Minneapolis suburbs, reporting to the Lead Tech, with a typical 8am–4pm schedule and no nights or weekends.

You are hands-on, reliable, with construction-site experience and the ability to climb ladders, pull cabling, and use power/hand tools. A steady work history and high EQ are valued.

Qualifications

• Experience on construction sites; hands-on field work.
• Ability to climb ladders, pull cabling, and use power/hand tools.
• Stable work history with ~3 years between hops; high EQ.

Responsibilities

• Pull/Terminate/Test Low-Voltage Cabling (Category, Fiber, Speaker, Lutron).
• Mount devices at ends of cables.
• Build and lace equipment racks.
• Setup and configuration of devices.
• Understanding and setup of networks.
• Troubleshooting of devices.
