Job summary

Amteck, LLC seeks an Estimator for its Technologies division to price large commercial projects involving Access Control, Intrusion, and CCTV. You will coordinate with customers and internal teams, attend site surveys, and prioritize bids based on deadlines and risk assessment.

The role emphasizes strong communication, adherence to ANSI/TIA standards and BICSI best practices, and experience with Accubid software. Office-based with limited travel, reporting to regional management.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience estimating low voltage, commercial projects.
• Experience pricing systems installation (Access Control, Intrusion, CCTV) is preferred.
• Experience on heavy commercial/light industrial projects with budgets $100,000-$2M.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Fluent in ANSI/TIA standards and BICSI best practices.
• Demonstrates risk management and conflict resolution skills.
• Experience with MS Office, Visio, and estimating software such as Accubid/Anywhere.

Responsibilities

• Price structures for design/execution of large commercial projects (Access Control, Intrusion, CCTV).
• Manage multiple bids simultaneously and prioritize by customer/department needs.
• Attend site surveys, pre-bid meetings, and project meetings as needed.
• Recognize and communicate project risks.
• Prepare scope of work and price proposals.
• Present proposal and scope of work to customers.
