Job summary

Amteck, Greenville, SC, is seeking a Low Voltage Estimator to price infrastructure and systems projects including access control, intrusion, and CCTV. This office-based role requires strong communication, risk awareness, and the ability to manage multiple bids with tight deadlines.

You will attend site surveys and client meetings to present proposals and scope, work with MS Office, Visio, and estimating tools such as Accubid.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience estimating low voltage for commercial projects.
• Experience pricing system installations (Access Control, Intrusion, CCTV) preferred.
• Experience on heavy commercial / light industrial projects with budgets $100,000–$2M.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Fluency in ANSI/TIA standards and BICSI best practices.
• Demonstrates risk management and conflict resolution skills.
• Experience with MS Office, Visio, and estimating software such as Accubid and Accubid Anywhere.

Responsibilities

• Price structures for design/execution of large commercial projects such as Special System infrastructure and components (access control, intrusion, CCTV).
• Manage multiple project bids simultaneously, prioritizing based on customer and department needs.
• Attend site surveys, pre-bid meetings, and project meetings as needed.
• Recognize and communicate risk on projects.
• Organize and prepare scope of work description and price proposal.
• Attend meetings with customer to present proposal and scope of work.
• Prepare complete estimates and pricing for the necessary disciplines of work.
• Analyze key components of the project to strengthen bidding position.
• Review successful bid/proposals with project management team.
• Assist in change order pricing as needed.
