Job summary

Amteck, LLC in Lexington is seeking an Estimator to price design and execution of large commercial projects within our Technologies division. You will work with customers, attend site surveys, and prepare complete price proposals for access control, intrusion and CCTV systems.

The right candidate has 2–5 years of low voltage estimating experience, strong written and verbal communication, and proficiency with MS Office, Visio, and Accubid products.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience estimating low voltage, commercial projects.
• Experience pricing systems installation (Access Control, Intrusion, CCTV) preferred.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Familiar with ANSI/TIA standards and BICSI best practices.
• Proven risk management and conflict resolution abilities.

Responsibilities

• Price structures for design/execution of large commercial projects like access control and CCTV.
• Manage multiple bids simultaneously and prioritize by customer/department needs.
• Attend site surveys, pre-bid and project meetings as needed.
• Identify and communicate project risk to the team.
• Prepare complete estimates and pricing across required disciplines.
• Review bid proposals with project management; assist with change orders.

Amteck, LLC is seeking candidates to fill an Estimator role within our Technologies division.Primary Role:Estimators in the Technologies department work with key individuals as well as our customers to price infrastructure and systems projects such as Access Control, Intrusion, and CCTV. Estimators manage multiple project bids simultaneously and often must prioritize bids based on time constraints. They also attend site surveys and meetings as needed including but not limited to client meetings where they are called on to efficiently present our proposal and scope of work. The right individual for this role has a strong background in low voltage installation on large commercial projects and is well-versed in ANSI/TIA standards and BICSI best practices. They are also high-energy, high-integrity with strong communication skills and an aptitude for risk management and conflict resolution.Estimators in the Lexington office report to the Regional Manager.
