Job summary

Amentum seeks an Electrician, Low Voltage to support a government contract in Kings Bay, Georgia. The journey-level role requires an apprenticeship and hands-on experience installing, servicing, and repairing electrical systems in industrial settings.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, interpreting NEC standards, and troubleshooting AC/DC control systems. Must pass security clearance screenings and have a valid driver’s license and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Reading and understanding electrical blueprints and wiring diagrams.
• Experience with AC/DC control systems and troubleshooting.
• Ability to read NEC 310.16 and conduit fill requirements.

Responsibilities

• Installs, services, and repairs electrical equipment in industrial environments.
• Replaces circuit breakers, switches, fuses, and other devices.
• Interprets blueprints and engineering specifications to complete tasks.
• Uses hand tools and testing instruments; installs conduit and supports wiring.
• May perform other related duties as assigned.
