Job summary

Amentum, a global leader in critical mission support, seeks an Electrician, Low Voltage to support a government contract based in Kings Bay, Georgia.

The Electrical journey-level position requires formal apprenticeship training and on-the-job experience, with duties including installation, service, and repair of electrical equipment across environments. Strong troubleshooting and reading blueprints are essential.

Qualifications

High School graduate or equivalent.
Certification from Electrical Maintenance level 2 program or completion of an approved apprenticeship with 3+ years in industrial electrical field.
Minimum 2 years journey-level experience with 600 VAC and below.
Ability to read electrical blueprints and wiring schematics.
Knowledge of electrical testing instruments and troubleshooting methodologies.

Responsibilities

Installs, services, and repairs electrical equipment in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
Replaces defective circuit breakers, switches, fuses, and other wiring devices.
Analyzes and troubleshoots electrical systems including generators, transformers, and switchgear.
Follows blueprints, drawings, or engineering specifications and uses testing instruments.
Installs conduit, reads NEC references, and works at heights up to 300 feet.
