Job summary

Vallum Associates, a NYC MEP design firm, seeks a Low Voltage Design Engineer to establish a formal LV design practice in-house. You will design structured cabling, IT infrastructure, telecoms, fire alarm and security systems, AV, and lighting controls in a dynamic in-house setup.

You will manage projects from concept through construction administration, representing the firm to clients and industry partners as part of BD efforts.

Hiring a Low Voltage Design Engineer for a NYC MEP Design firm who is bringing IT/AV services in-house for the first time. This role establishes and builds out Low Voltage Design as a formal practice area within the firm.

You'll design Structured Cabling + IT Infrastructure, Telecoms, Fire Alarm + Security Systems, AV, BMS and Lighting Controls.

You will manage projects independently from concept through construction administration, represent the firm to clients, prospective clients, and industry partners as part of BD efforts.
