Job summary

Core Scientific is seeking a highly skilled Low Voltage Designer to lead the strategy, design, and deployment of telecommunications and low-voltage infrastructure across our data center portfolio. You will guide structured cabling, fiber, OSP, security, BAS/EPMS, DAS, and related systems, ensuring standards and reliable performance.

The role requires 7+ years in telecom infra design, leadership experience, and proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit/BIM, and industry codes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Telecommunications, or related field.
  • 7+ years of telecommunications infrastructure design and implementation experience, including leadership roles.
  • Strong knowledge of structured cabling, fiber optics, OSP design, and related systems.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain low-voltage design standards, specs, drawings templates, and best practices.
  • Lead design and development of structured cabling, fiber, OSP, security, BAS/EPMS, and DAS systems.
  • Review documents and provide technical oversight to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Manage full project lifecycle from planning through turnover and commissioning.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and vendors to achieve on-time delivery.
