Job summary
Kidwell is seeking highly-motivated individuals to fill the role of Low Voltage Installer. This position involves working on job sites, installing premise cabling equipment, and testing Cat5, Cat6, and Cat6a cables; you will report to the Senior Cabling Technician and collaborate with Telecommunications Technicians to meet contract and customer needs.
Candidates should have an Associate's Degree in Electrical or a related technology program, or equivalent field experience; must pass a physical
Qualifications
- Associate's Degree from Electrical or related Technology program, or field experience
- Must pass physical exam and drug screening
- Ability to pass criminal background check and maintain a valid driver's license
- Nebraska Electrical License or eligibility to apply on employment
Responsibilities
- Assists and reports to Senior Cabling Technician on installation and maintenance of premise cabling
- Install and test Cat5, Cat6, Cat6a cables
- Assist with installation of cable trays, racks, and support structures
- May conduct terminations
- Learn basic working knowledge of company sales products
- Collaborate with Telecommunications Technicians on projects
