Job summary

Kidwell in Nebraska is seeking a motivated Low Voltage Installer to join our on-site team. You will assist in installing and testing Cat5, Cat6, and Cat6a cables, and support the installation of cable trays, racks, and other structures.

You will represent Kidwell on job sites and with customers, bringing positivity and attention to detail. The role requires an Associate’s Degree in Electrical Technology or related field (or applicable experience), ability to pass physical and drug screening, and

Qualifications

Associate's Degree or equivalent field experience required
Must be able to pass a physical exam and drug screening
Criminal background check required and valid Driver's License
Nebraska Electrical License or ability to obtain one upon employment

Responsibilities

Assist and report to Senior Cabling Technician in installation and diagnostic maintenance of premise cabling equipment
Install and test Cat5, Cat6, and Cat6a cables
Assist with installation of cable trays, racks, and other support structures
May perform terminations as needed
Learn basic knowledge of company sales products
Collaborate with Telecommunications Technicians on projects
